The Recycling System (RMSWIN) was specifically designed by people in the recycle/scrap processing industry. RMS automates the daily accounting and management information needs of the recycling industry business.
The RMSWIN software is designed to be modular and can be implemented in phases. You can purchase just the application modules you need.
The following modules reduce clerical work and provide important information needed to make your business more profitable.
RECYCLING ACCOUNTING MODULE
The primary module of RMS automates buying and selling of products and provides historical information by customer and by commodity. The module also interfaces with other modules on a daily basis, automatically updating inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable and the container management system.
The starting point of the Recycling Module is scale purchases. It can automate scale purchasing right at the point of purchase, or information on purchases can be entered in the back office. Data is entered only once, and once entered, that data updates other modules automatically. The system speeds customer service and increases accuracy, with a check or receipt printed on the spot.
SALES CONTRACTS
Maintains records of sales contracts you have taken from your customers. You have access to contract information on a daily basis, including printed or displayed information on products shipped and balances due by customer and/or product.
MATERIALS INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Keeps track of inventory on an unlimited number of products with perpetual inventory method. Automatically updated by scale purchases and product shipments made.
PRODUCT ANALYSIS
Displays purchase and sales figures by product, customer and by date range, and allows you to compare purchase and sales information for two different date ranges.
PARTS INVENTORY
Tracks in-house parts used in your maintenance shop for repairs and maintenance. Has capability to receive parts, and calculates average cost and quantity on hand.
METAL WAREHOUSING AND READY TO SHIP
Tags and maintains list of RTS inventory items. You can obtain a list of RTS items by product, inventory tag number and price. Will bring Bill of Lading from Ready-to-Ship files to update invoices and accounts receivable.
CONTAINER SCHEDULING AND MAINTENANCE
Allows you to track movement, location and status of all types of containers. Current status includes time-in, time-out and current location. Incoming container information can be updated automatically from scale purchases.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
Keeps track of the company's equipment and trucks, including details of labor, repairs and supplies for each piece of equipment / truck.
All modules are compatible with DOS, Windows (98,NT,2000 and XP), networks, UNIX.
